Newsletter by Email

Because of the rising costs of postage, and of printing the newsletter, we would like all members who use email to consider getting their newsletter by email.  The newsletter will reach you sooner and it is a cost savings for the Co-op.  If you are interested in switching to email delivery, call the office or send an email requesting the change to mailbox@mslamb.com.  Archives of past newsletters can be found on our website at www.mslamb.com.

Lambs on Feed

As you put lambs on feed or schedule lambs to go to the feedlot please contact the cooperative.  We maintain an inventory of lambs on feed and use this information to project and manage our supply. This replaces the slotting system we have used in prior years.

MSLC would like the following basic information by phone, fax or email:
# of head
Feedlot
Current Weight
Projected Marketing Date(s)
Also include any additional pertinent information such as date shorn and natural status.

Annual Meeting

Father’s Day is June15th.  We have had a good response to our cases of natural lamb featured in last month’s newsletter. We have a natural lamb sampler gift pack, and cases of natural chops, racks, or butterflied legs available.

If you are interested in ordering natural lamb for Father’s Day please give the office a call as soon as possible.  We will ship all the Father’s Day orders on May 9th and will need the orders in time to get the shipments put together. These also make great birthday and anniversary gifts and are very nice to have on hand for summer grilling.
